A bit about me…

I’m Adelle Leonce. I was raised in Rotherham, South Yorkshire and eventually swapped it for the fast pace of London to train at the renowned Drama School Italia Conti.

Throughout my career, I have developed a love for working on new writing. There’s something thrilling about being the first actor to sew together the characters emotional arc from page to stage. Working on new scripts with the writer in the room to pick their brain, is a gift you don’t get with the likes of Tennessee Williams or Chekhov.

Speaking of the greats, let’s talk Shakespeare. It took me a while to fall in love with him. At first, his work felt like a Sudoku puzzle, dense, tricky, and a challenge to unlock. But once I cracked something like Romeo & Juliet, I started to see the beauty in the rhythmic language and the depth in the characters. I now find myself drawn to the meatier tragedies like, King Lear and Othello, the ones that really make you bleed.

Actor, Director & Coach

Alongside my professional work, I’ve developed a deep passion for coaching the next generation of performers. I’ve worked with students from leading Drama and Musical Theatre Schools including Laine Theatre Arts, Erdang, ArtsEd, and Guildhall. I also sit on audition panels for top drama schools, giving me a real understanding of what these institutions are looking for in an applicant.

Beyond the stage and screen, I’ve stepped behind the camera as a filmmaker, directing short films and branded content for E-commerce companies.

Currently, I am in the process of working on two projects which I am both writing and directing.
